The mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Stuff the turkey with a simple bread stuffing and serve with a delicious homemade cranberry sauce. Somehow after this great feast you have to "save room" for just a teeny serving of rich carrot pudding. It's tradition!
